OUR PILLARS
At Awaken Church, everything we do flows from a simple mission: Encounter. Connect. Grow. Go.
We ENCOUNTER the Holy Spirit.
We CONNECT with God and with each other.
We GROW deeper in relationship with God and with each other.
And we GO into all the world, carrying the Gospel of Jesus wherever He sends us.
Our five pillars are the areas where we intentionally live out that mission.
01.
INVEST IN THE
NEXT GENERATION
We believe the next generation isn't just the church of tomorrow, they are part of the Church today. We intentionally invest in children, students, and young adults so they can encounter the Holy Spirit, know God personally, build meaningful relationships, grow as disciples of Jesus, and boldly live out their faith.
02.
DISCIPLESHIP
Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We want to develop disciples who know God's Word, hear His voice, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and continually grow in their relationship with God. As we grow, we help others grow too.
03.
MARKETPLACE AND
MINISTRY VOCATIONS
We believe calling isn't limited to a church building. God sends people into businesses, schools, homes, healthcare, government, trades, ministry, and every sphere of society. We want to equip people to recognize their calling and carry the presence and purpose of God wherever He places them.
04.
LIFE AND SMALL
GROUPS
We weren't created to follow Jesus alone. Life Groups create space for authentic relationships, prayer, encouragement, discipleship, accountability, and spiritual growth. We want to be a church where people don't simply attend together—we do life together.
05.
OUTREACH
Jesus calls us beyond ourselves. We believe an awakened church is a sent church, serving our neighbors, meeting needs, sharing the Gospel, strengthening our community, planting churches, and supporting missions locally and globally.
