At Awaken Church, Jesus is at the center of everything we do. Our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God, dependent upon the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. Scripture is our foundation and final authority for what we believe and how we live.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to Heaven, and reigns as Lord. Salvation is found in Him alone.

GOD
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, our Redeemer, and worthy of all glory, honor, and worship.

We believe the Holy Spirit is present, active, and moving today. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the operation of spiritual gifts, divine healing, and the Spirit's ongoing work of transforming and empowering believers for holy living, bold witness, and ministry.

SALVATION
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through Him we are forgiven, made new, and called to follow Jesus with our whole lives.

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe following Jesus is a life of continual surrender and transformation. Through God's Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are called to grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord and with one another, pursue holiness, walk in obedience, and become more like Jesus.

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ. We are called to worship God, live in authentic community, make disciples, serve others, and carry the Gospel to our communities and the nations through the power of the Holy Spirit.

HEALING
We believe God still heals today. Divine healing is part of the Gospel, and we believe in praying with faith for the sick while trusting in the sovereignty and goodness of God.

THE RETURN OF JESUS & ETERNITY
We believe Jesus Christ is coming again. We believe in the resurrection, final judgment, and the promise of eternal life with God for those who belong to Christ. We live with expectation and hope as we await His return.

MARRIAGE & BIBLICAL SEXUALITY
We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity, worth, and value. We believe God created humanity male and female and established marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We believe God's design for sexual intimacy is within the covenant of marriage and that followers of Jesus are called to honor God with their bodies and pursue biblical holiness.
We are committed to holding these convictions with truth, grace, compassion, and love, welcoming every person to encounter Jesus and experience His transforming grace.
